1. The popularity and demand for bringing news to the people at home called for more cameras to be provided to troops and journalists alike. During world war 2 many German soldiers were provided with cameras to take photos of heroic feats on the battle field to encourage support in allies and fear in enemies. More cameras meant more opportunity to perfect the camera's design and helped shape the modern models we use today.
2. Cameras attached to bombs gave the public in the past and present a greater sense of the destruction of war. Cameras were built in retrievable boxes so that footage could later be recovered and used. These cameras paved the way to developing the whatever-proof boxes we use today in difficult situations such as in fires or in great depths of water.
Technological changes in fashion during war times:
1. Camouflage. Created to allow soldiers to blend in with their surroundings to avoid being shot. Camouflage is still used today as an effective way of avoiding death.
2. The invention of rifles created a must-have accessory for any soldier. A great improvement on the musket, rifles could shoot targets further away with more accuracy. Further experimentation concerning the model has shaped the firearms used in wars and sport today.
